This shop was busy the whole time we were in there, trying to decide what we wanted. They have more than chocolate, like vintage candy and ice cream. The candy in their case was very good. There were so many choices it was hard to decide.

“I’m in heaven!”
Lots of Vegan Chocolate options! Not only do they clearly mark 90% of their chocolates if they are Vegan, Kosher, or Gluten Free, but also some candies too. You get me, you really get me! Thank you! This is a super cute shop. Friendly staff. The place is very busy. You can tell they are a local fave. Located perfectly among lots of fun and unique shops.

“We Love this Place…probably too much!”
Whenever we’re in Nevada City for dinner, which can be bi-monthly, we like to wander into the Chocolate Shoppe afterwards. I know the Shoppe has changed hands a couple of times over the years, but it has never disappointed! A very good selection of fudge and I always get a small supply of dark almond bark!

“So many wonderful things, it’s hard to choose”
The walnut fudge and the dark chocolate covered candied orange peel I tried were perfect. I also got a couple dark chocolate cashew clusters for us to enjoy another day. Had we not just stuffed ourselves, we would have wanted to sit a while and enjoy ice cream.
